The Karachi Kings will take on Islamabad United in the sixth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2016) Sunday at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Islamabad United began its PSL campaign with two consecutive defeats. They were first defeated by the Quetta Gladiators in the inaugural match of the T20 league on Thursday. Shahid Afridi's Peshawar Zalmi also thrashed Misbah-ul-Haq's side in the third match of Pakistan Super League on Friday, according to ARY News.

The Karachi Kings, on the other hand, began their PSL campaign on a winning note, thrashing the Lahore Qalandars by seven wickets on Friday, according to News International. Mohammad Amir's hat-trick helped his side restrict the Lahore Qalandars to 125 on the scoreboard, which Shoaib Malik's side easily chased down.

The inaugural season of the Pakistan Super League began on Feb. 4 and will continue until Feb. 23. The 24-match tournament will feature the world's best T20 players, including Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Shane Watson, Andrew Russell, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shahid Afridi, Wahab Riaz, Kevin Peterson, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Umer Gul, Shoaib Malik and Ravi Bopara, as HNGN previously reported.

Five teams named after Pakistan's five provincial capitals and the national capital - the Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, the Lahore Qalandars, the Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United- will compete with each other to win the inaugural season of the long-awaited T20 league, PSL, which will be held in Dubai and Sharjah cricket stadiums in the United Arab Emirates.
