Parents share a common fear about losing their children and it has been determined that many don't actually know what steps to take when they find that their baby has stopped breathing.

St. John Ambulance, a first aid charity in the U.K., has prepared a simple video that hopes to teach parents to take charge should an emergency happen. "Learn the song, in case things go wrong," the agency urges on their official site

"We know that a major barrier to parents learning is that baby CPR frightens them, so we've removed the fear factor and made it reassuring and as easy as possible to learn," said St. John Ambulance's Sue Killen via Mirror.  "We hope the song will stick in everyone's heads. We're asking everyone to share the video so that all parents, grandparents and carers can learn what to do in those crucial minutes after a baby has stopped breathing."

Health experts recommend parents take classes about baby CPR and other first aid procedures, especially when many accidents can happen at home. "Sometimes we don't know how quickly 911 can get there," said Dr. Mandle Svatek via KSAT 12. "If they are already performing CPR, then they are already making the outcome better for these kids."

For interested parents, CPR and first aid courses are also offered by the American Red Cross at its local chapters.
