Cindy Crawford took to social media on Monday to deny reports that the 50-year-old supermodel was planning to retire from modeling later this month, saying that she had not made any "final statements" and that she will "never say never," according to People.

In a recent interview with United Airlines' Rhapsody magazine, the mother-of-two suggested that she would hang up her boots once she turns 50 on Feb. 20. "I'm sure I'll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore," Crawford said at the time, as HNGN previously reported.

However, Crawford took to Instagram on Monday to clarify the statements she made during the interview. "Every year, I tell my kids I'm retiring. It's a running joke in our family. And yet every year, opportunities pop up that really excite me. While it's true that I'm eager to shift my focus a bit to concentrate on my businesses, friends and family - I'm not making any final statements," she captioned a black-and-white photo of herself.

"I have loved being part of the fashion industry for the past 30 years - and if that time has taught me anything, it's this: never say never. Thanks for all the support, I'm so excited for what 2016 holds! xo Cindy," Crawford added.
