A new and possibly legitimate press leak of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 shows few surprises, as the device sports very minimal design changes. This was revealed in a recent report by popular mobile phone leak source, Evan Blass at Venture Beat.

The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have won plaudits for their design, and Samsung seems unwilling to rock the boat in this respect. There is, however, one significant change to the new Galaxy flagships. While the S7 retains the 5.1-inch form factor, the S7 Edge will be bigger, as shown in the leaked image. The speculation is that the Edge will have a 5.7-inch display, according to BGR.

Both the devices are expected to have the same hardware specifications, except for the larger Edge display. For more information about previous rumors on the S7 specs, click here.

Fans are expecting that the biggest change to the upcoming S7 devices will be found under the hood. Samsung could be packing some critical features, such as expandable storage, water resistance and longer battery life. There is also an indication that the company will be introducing not only its own take on the pressure-sensitive screen technology similar to iPhone's 3D touch, but also a retina scan for improved security.

The S7 is rumored to hit the U.S. market on March 11, and the device might be unveiled earlier to drum up press interest.
