Harrison Ford will disclose exciting new details, including a first look of the much-awaited "Star Wars"-themed lands on ABC's upcoming Disneyland anniversary special, "The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60," according to Variety.

Han Solo himself will treat viewers to an exclusive preview of the park expansion when the two-hour special airs on Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. Disney announced plans for the "Star Wars"-themed lands at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts during the D23 Expo in August, last year, as HNGN previously reported.

"The attractions, the entertainment - everything we create will be part of our storytelling. Nothing will be out of character or stray from the ['Star Wars'] mythology," Disney Chairman and Chief Executive Robert Iger said at the time.

The expansion will include two signature attractions - a Millenium Falcon-themed ride that allows fans to take control of the legendary starship and a ride that features a battle between the First Order and the Resistance.

The Disneyland special will be hosted by Derek Hough and will feature a performance by the Los Angeles Philharmonic of the "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" from Disney's animated film, "Fantasia." The show will also include appearances by Elton John, Josh Gad and Witney Carson, according to The Huffington Post.
