The Walt Disney Co.'s annual D23 expo will not only showcase everything that Mickey Mouse and friends have been up to but for the first time ever the Force will be strong within the expo as it is the first expo since Disney purchased Lucasfilm, according to the Associated Press.

"Star Wars" fans have been practically tying themselves in knots as they try and find out information about "Star Wars: Episode VII." The studio has stayed mum on the topic for the most part other than announcing that J.J. Abrams is directing, Michael Arndt is writing, and John Williams will be scoring the film.

Fans who anticipated an announcement at Comic-Con or at the Star Wars Celebration in Germany were left disappointed. Any fans who thought that they might get a chance to see some footage from "Star Wars: Episode VII" at D23 will walk away disappointed as well. Bob Iger told the Associated Press that no footage will be shown, but that it should still be an exciting time.

"We're speechless, at least we're going to be somewhat speechless at this expo," Iger said. "Trust me. It's going to be fantastic. Come on. "Star Wars" and Disney together. How could it not be fantastic?"

Disney released pictures of a group of boxes marked "Orange Harvest" to tease "Star Wars" fans prior to the expo. Hollywood.com painstakingly poured over the pictures to try to figure out what was being hinted at.

One theory is that Disney is gearing up to announce the addition of some "Star Wars" related rides at their theme parks. "Return of the Jedi" was famously nicknamed Blue Harvest and both Disney World and Disneyland were built on orange groves. One of the boxes was addressed to the "Imagineering" department, the part of Disney that creates rides for the theme parks, according to Hollywood.com

While there may not be any footage of the new film shown at D23 there is more than likely going to be some sort of announcement that will get "Star Wars" fans excited.
