This is Kama, short for Kamapua'a, and he's a surfing Polynesian pig. This lucky pig pal lives in Oahu, Hawaii and loves to surf on three and four foot waves, Hawaiian-style. He jumps on to the board with his owner, and they swim out to where the waves are. Next thing you know, they're off! Kama has incredible balance and grip on the board, so it's really amazing to watch.

Watch below, because this pig's skills have to be seen to be believed. Look out for the hilariously cute noise he makes when he wipes out halfway through the video, made by GoPro:

Kai Holt, Kama's owner and surfing partner, tells all about Kama's early life, diet, likes, dislikes, and fellow animal friends in the video by Ron Darby below:

Holt found Kama at Bellows Beach when he was only a week old, but ever since he joined the family, his life has been a ton of surfing and fun, reported Laughing Squid. He had accidentally fallen into the backyard pool when Holt realized that pigs could swim! He thought to himself, if they can swim, they can surf!

Kama is now being sponsored by GoPro, and they even designed a harness just for him, called the Kama Cam, as Holt explains in Darby's video. You can see the camera strapped to the little pig's body in the GoPro video.

"You know surfing is Hawaii's gift to the world. It's like true happiness, you know, that's what this guy does.  Everywhere he goes he just makes people smile and laugh. He just brings joy to the world," Holt says about his best friend, reported Hawaii News Now.
