George and Amal Clooney have gone out of their way to rescue another dog in need of love and affection, and had him taken to the pup's forever home - in the form of his parents. Nate, a three-year-old terrier, was suffering from birth defects, walking with a leg that kept swaying and was underweight when the LuvFurMutts Animal Rescue in Cincinnati, Ohio, rescued him from a hoarding situation, according to People.

The organization posted the announcement of little Nate's adoption on Facebook on Wednesday. It noted that it delayed the announcement so that it wouldn't "infringe upon the Clooney's holidays."

Clooney took the pup in to give to his parents Nick and Nina Clooney in order to replace the dearly beloved pooch they recently lost.

This isn't the first time that Clooney rescued a dog. Back in October, he and his wife Amal adopted a four-year-old basset hound mix named Millie, which they came across with on a Petfinder website, USA Today reported.
