It's a miracle! George Clooney seems to have had a change of heart about becoming a father.

The 54-year-old "Tomorrowland" actor and his wife, lawyer Amal Clooney, who tied the knot nearly 10 months ago in Venice, Italy, are reportedly trying for a baby, reported Us Weekly. The actor's 37-year-old wife has reportedly decided not to take on any additional work in order to leave time for a possible pregnancy.

"They decided that it would be the right time," a source told Us Weekly. "Amal isn't taking on extra work at the moment and just continuing with the cases she has."

An insider revealed that Amal wants to give birth to her first child in London next year where the couple's 9,000-square-foot English countryside home is currently undergoing a $15 million renovation. The building plans reportedly include a nursery for the couple's bundle of joy. The Clooneys hope to have the house renovated by Christmas.

Another source added that the pair "recently visited a fertility center," instead of leaving their family's future to chance, because a family "is something they really want."

So why the change of heart from the man who previously admitted having children wasn't high on his list of priorities? Us Weekly claimed George "loves the relationships his friends have with their kids. George is ready for this step and he thinks that Amal will be a great mother."
