One Direction dropped their latest, but hopefully not their last, music video for their track "History." The song is the groups third single released off their fifth album, "Made in the A.M.," which is the first one not to feature former member Zayn Malik. Even though Malik does not sing on the record, he does appear in the sentimental video for the song that features the real life history of the boy band.

The emotional video features Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson singing in front of a brick wall as black and white flashbacks intertwine throughout the video. The simple, yet tear-jerking, clip spans over the band's entire career from their start on Britain's "The X-Factor" to their possibly last performance as a group on the same show a couple of months ago. Their last "X-Factor" performance was their last one scheduled ahead of their planned hiatus, according to People.

It also features never-before-seen footage of the band and even included the departed Malik during happier times. The music video comes to a sad conclusion with all four members walking in opposite directions.
