Ronda Rousey and Selena Gomez make one powerful duo in the newest promotional video for this weekend's episode of "Saturday Night Live." The former UFC champion and Gomez were joined by "SNL" cast member Cecily Strong for a couple of promos.

"Three strong and independent women on the stage together," Strong told the group.

"Yeah it feels so good," Gomez said.

"So serious girl power," Rousey replied.

The group may be strong and independent, but that does not mean they can't call boys. The trio then all whipped out their phones to call their significant others as Strong just dialed her father.

Earlier in the week, "Saturday Night Live" also released a set of promos with Rousey and cast member Beck Bennett in which she showed off more of her comedic chops.

"Isn't it amazing to be able to look around and know for miles and miles you could kick the ass of anyone down there?" she asked Bennett as they looked over the Manhattan skyline.

Saturday will mark the first time Rousey has hosted "Saturday Night Live." The former UFC women's bantamweight champion has been expanding her resume with films like "Entourage," "Furious 7" and "The Expendables 3." Rousey will also co-star with former "Saturday Night Live" alum Tina Fey in the upcoming comedy "Do Nothing Bitches," according to Entertainment Weekly.

"Saturday Night Live" airs Saturday at 11:30 p.m. EST on NBC.
