Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey already declared for the 2016 NFL Draft, and many experts expect the talented player to be taken as one of the first five picks off the board. Ramsey received some huge praises since applying for early entry, and has now been compared with Kansas City Chiefs star strong safety Eric Berry by Bleacher Reports' draft scout Matt Miller.

Ramsey, who had a very productive career for the Seminoles in Tallahassee, was the first freshman to start an opener at cornerback for Florida State since Deion Sanders 30 years earlier. Scouts' reviews of the talented defensive back vary as some believe he is the next Richard Sherman, while other believe he is overrated.

Ramsey fits the prototypical frame for a press corner in the NFL at 6-foot-1-inch and 202 pounds, and will be an instant impact player for any defense that selects him. The Seminoles cornerback can play both safety and slot corner, which appeals to plenty of NFL franchises. Ramsey only had three interceptions in his career at Florida State, and needs work on his lateral movement at the next level. Consistency has been a big issue for the coveted player as he makes great tackles against the run but, at times, seems passive.

Ramsey and Vernon Hargreaves III are considered the best two defensive backs in the upcoming 2016 NFL Draft and both are almost certain to be off the board by the 10th pick. Ramsey is clearly a huge talent, but comparing him to Berry is a huge statement.

The Kansas City Chiefs star strong safety returned to the league this season after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and was a huge factor in the team's success on the field. Berry recorded 61 combined tackles and had two interceptions this season and, arguably, deserves the comeback player of the year award.

Whether Ramsey will translate into a talent of Berry's caliber remains to be seen, but expect plenty of teams to have interest in the star defensive back as he is considered one of the best overall talents in the entire draft class.
