Ilfenesh Hadera has been confirmed as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's love interest in the upcoming "Baywatch" movie. Johnson announced Wednesday on Instagram that the "Billions" actress joined the silver screen adaptation of the classic television series.

"Want to welcome the talented @ilfenator Ilfenesh Hadera to our #BAYWATCH family," wrote Johnson, who described Hadera's character as "strong, intelligent, formidable, beautiful and funny." He also called the "Chi-Raq" actress "a 5'11 walkin' smokestack with legs for days. Smart and tougher than new rope.. just the way we like 'em."

Seth Gordon is directing the film and Beau Flynn and Ivan Reitman will serve as producers along with Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions, Michael Berk, Douglas Schwartz and Gregory Bonann, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Hadera will star alongside Kelly Rohrbach, Johnson's "San Andreas" co-star, Alexandra Daddario and Zac Efron in the film.

There were reports that "Quantico" star Priyanka Chopra had also been roped in for the movie, as HNGN previously reported.

The "Baywatch" movie is slated to hit theaters May 19, 2017.
