Priyanka Chopra, who plays FBI agent Alex Parrish on "Quantico," is in negotiations to star alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron in Paramount's film adaptation of "Baywatch," according to Variety.

The film, directed by Seth Gordon, will also feature "San Andreas" actress Alexandra Daddario as Summer and Leonardo DiCaprio's ex, Kelly Rohrbach, as C.J. Parker.

The film's plot revolves around the leader of an elite team of lifeguards (Johnson), who has to partner up with a much younger, star athlete (Efron) in order to protect their bay. Chopra has been tapped to play the villain in the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Baywatch" will be produced by Beau Flynn and Ivan Reitman along with Johnson and Dany Garcia's Seven Bucks Productions. Michael Berk, Douglas Schwartz and Gregory Bonann will also serve as producers on the project.

Chopra, who started her acting career in Bollywood, shot to fame after nabbing the lead role in "Quantico," for which she won a People's Choice Award for Favorite Actress in a New TV Series, as HNGN previously reported.
