Rapper Lil Wayne was in Italy over the weekend for Milan Fashion Week, where he was scheduled to perform for designer Philipp Plein's show. However, things didn't go as planned when a frustrated Lil Wayne threw his microphone up in the air and walked off stage during the performance, according to TMZ.

TMZ acquired a video of the incident, which shows the rapper asking the crowd to put their hands up in the air but the audience barely responds. Later, as Weezy performs his hit track "John," he gets frustrated, throwing his microphone and storming off the stage, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Later that night, Lil Wayne took to Twitter to express his frustration. "N----z in Italy slime," he wrote.

The rapper's rep explained that Lil Wayne's exit from the show was not because of the lukewarm crowd, but a result of the "technical difficulties" he was experiencing with his microphone.
