Lil Wayne and Christina Milian have split up after dating for more than a year, according to a report. "They have broken up. Their schedules started getting extremely busy and the distance was not easy for them both," a source said, according to E!.

"They are not on bad terms. They just are taking a break. Christina is focusing on herself now and surrounding herself with her close girlfriends like Karrueche Tran. They both understand each other and girlfriends are exactly what she wants about now," the source added.

The couple started dating in July 2014 but kept their relationship low profile until they recently began publicly acknowledging their relationship, according to TMZ.

The ex-couple, who collaborated on a couple of tracks earlier this year, have remained amicable after their breakup, even attending Alexander Wang's New York Fashion Week show together on Saturday.

"There's nothing better than that feeling of that new chemistry, when you're so into someone you really could care less about what anybody else has to think," Milian said during an interview in May, talking about her relationship with the rapper, as HNGN previously reported. "I feel so inspired by the relationship that I'm in. It's like that careless, hopeless-romantic love where it's like, 'Oh my gosh, I will do anything for you,' it's just incredible."
