Canadian singer Céline Dion has lost another loved one, as her older brother succumbed to cancer Saturday at the age of 59, just two days after her husband René Angélil passed away on Thursday.

Daniel had been diagnosed with throat, tongue and brain cancer, according to the Associated Press. His death came less than a day after it was revealed that he only had "days or hours left to live."

"They're close, she's close with all of her siblings. It's hard," a source said about Céline, 47, and Daniel's relationship, according to People.

The source added that Céline is still in Vegas planning her husband's funeral with her children. "It's a typical grieving process. There's (sic) moments of shed tears, moments of memories and laughter," the source said.

The funeral for Angélil will be held on Friday at the Notre-Dame Basilica, the same church where the couple got married. Meanwhile, a memorial service will be held for Daniel the following day, and a formal funeral will follow days after.

Céline was only 26 when she wed Angélil, who was twice her age, in 1994. Their extravagant wedding was broadcasted live in Canada and appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers, AFP reported.
