Rambo the autism therapy dog surprised everyone when he showed back up at his house. Having been missing since Friday afternoon, he stealthily showed back up to everyone's delight, especially Conner, the 7-year-old that Rambo, also known as Bo, provides his therapeutic abilities. But the head scratcher is still how the enormous Great Dane came and went with no one seeing a thing.

"I got up at 6 a.m. to let our other dog out and heard scratching at the other door," Christie Brennan Acton said, according to WTVR. "I saw Bo through the window and just started screaming. It truly is a miracle and there just aren't words to describe how thankful we are to everyone who help get him home."

Acton hit the local media and her Facebook page to have the whole city of Hanover, Va. on the lookout for the giant harlequin Great Dane. He would be hard to hide.

"He isn't dirty and wasn't even cold," Acton said, suspicious about Bo's reemergence. "His jacket is missing and his collar has been taken off and put back on at some point. He wasn't there when my husband checked at 5:15 a.m., but just happened to show up before 6 and he was warm."

Once Acton brought Bo inside, Conner dropped to his knees in an emotional homecoming.

"[He] just fell to his knees, wrapped his arms around him, and started crying," she said. "His 8th birthday is tomorrow and we were praying for a miracle like this today."

What a homecoming and a miracle. Acton said that the family will change their routines now and not leave the dogs out to go to the bathroom by themselves since Rambo's suspected dog napping.

"I would definitely want to extend a warning to pet owners," she said. "You just can't leave them unattended to even use the bathroom. It's sad."
