After months of speculation, Lamar Odom's charges have finally been sorted out and it looks like he won't be facing drug charges after all. When the former NBA star was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Oct. 13 due to an overdose, he tested positive for cocaine and officials have been going back and forth ever since his hospitalization trying to figure out if he should be charged or not.

On Monday, officials finally came to the conclusion that Odom will not be charged for cocaine possession in the near fatal drug and alcohol fueled binge, according to New York Daily News. Prosecutors in Nye County, Nev., have decided not to file any charges against him.

"Based on the present evidence and surrounding circumstances, the Nye County District Attorney's office has decided not to bring drug charges against Lamar Odom," Nye County District Attorney Angela Bello said. "Although the evidence showed Mr. Odom had metabolized cocaine in his system while he was present in Nye County in October of 2015, he was not found in the possession of cocaine and it is unlikely it could be established beyond a reasonable doubt he actually ingested, or was impaired by, the drug during the time he was within the jurisdiction of Nye County."

Back in November, an Nye County D.A. revealed that because he was still in the hospital and unable to walk or speak at the time, he probably would legally catch a break, as HNGN previously reported. His medical condition and mental state played a big role in their decision on whether or not to charge him.

Just last week, Odom was finally released from the hospital after about three months and was moved to a private rehab facility to continue on with his miraculous recovery.
