After almost three months in the hospital following a near fatal overdose on Oct. 13, Lamar Odom has finally been released!

The 36-year-old former NBA star was secretly moved out of the hospital by his estranged wife Khloé Kardashian on Wednesday, according to Us Weekly. He is now in a private rehab facility that has been set up near her home. They did the move quickly so they could avoid any unwanted attention and did not even notify his family.

Rumors started to go around that Odom would be moved from the hospital to a live-in rehab earlier this week before anything was known for sure. "The plan is for him to move in the next few days," an insider told People on Wednesday. "At the center, Lamar will continue to receive amazing therapy. He still has many challenges but is making progress. He is a fighter!"

Odom recently spent Christmas with his children Lamar Odom Jr. and Destiny, and they shared the first photo of him since his hospitalization. "Lamar is doing way better," a source told Us Weekly at the time. "He was so happy the kids were there with him for Christmas and they were so happy to be with him. The kids were happy...They had so much fun. It was very emotional and very happy."

While promoting her new show "Kocktails with Khloé," Kardadhian took the time to thank her supporters for their prayers for Odom over the past several months and gave an update on his current condition. "He's doing great," she told reporters at the annual Television Critics Press Tour on Wednesday. "Because it's not my story to tell, I try to respect that and I want him to be able to tell that story. I'm just there to support and care for him, but he is doing amazing and I'm so proud of the strength that he has to fight this battle."
