Popcorn is an amazing snack. It's filling, high in fiber (especially compared to the chips you could be snacking on instead), and is the number-one choice for a movie accompaniment. However, there's so much more to popcorn than "regular" or "extra butter." Here are five of our favorite spice mixes that will bring your popcorn game to the next level. You can triple the recipe of any of these spice mixes and keep it in a well-sealed jar in the fridge if you want to have it ready for your next popcorn craving, or you can jar a batch and give it as a gift!

Dorito-Flavored Popcorn from Whole New Mom. This mix is amazing. It really does taste just like nacho cheese Doritos, but you can eat a whole bowl of this popcorn without the guilt of even a small bag of Doritos. The nutritional yeast gives the mix it's amazing cheesy taste, and it happens to be dairy-free.

Garlic Rosemary Parmesan Popcorn from Two Peas and their Pod. This mix is cheesy, herby, and garlicky. What could be better?

Churro Popcorn from Melissa's Cuisine. A nice, sweet alternative to caramel corn, this popcorn is the perfect dessert. If you wanna go really crazy, use a batch of churro popcorn to make popcorn-marshmallow bars. Prepare the popcorn and use it in place of Rice Crispies in a recipe for Rice Crispy Squares.

Wasabi Soy Sauce Popcorn from Brooklyn Farm Girl. This popcorn is reminiscent of wasabi peas, but it's less intense and not deep-fried, perfect for an afternoon snack.

Mexican Chocolate Popcorn from Martha Stewart. Chocolaty and spicy, this popcorn is pretty much the antithesis of movie theatre popcorn, but opposites attract! Make a batch of savory popcorn and serve it alongside this sweet one. People will be going back and forth in a salty-sweet frenzy.
