Not much has been revealed about Adam Lambert's "Glee" character but a video has finally surfaced giving Gleeks a first glimpse at Elliot "Starchild" Gilbert.

In the behind-the-scenes video Chris Colfer, who plays Kurt, reveals that his character along with Santana (Naya Rivera) and Dani (Demi Lovato) are starting a band and only one person comes to the audition - Starchild, TV Fanatic reports.

Kurt is immediately turned off by Starchild's over-the-top rendition of Lady Gaga's "Marry the Night" and it's pretty obvious the two don't quite click.

"Who names themselves 'Starchild,'" Kurt asks Santana.

"As far as the character goes, at first Kurt and Starchild don't quite click, but then they click," Lambert told Entertainment Weekly.

Throughout the audition - which includes Starchild hanging from chandeliers and sitting on the table as he belts out tunes - Kurt seems less than impressed. However, Santana and Dani love the performance.

"I would not be embarrassed to share the stage with you," Santana eagerly tells the newbie.

In the end, Starchild doesn't make it past the auditions. In the video Lambert admits that his character might have come on too strong.

"I think he's trying way too hard and he's doing everything he can to make a good impression," the "American Idol" alum said.

At the end of the clip, fans do see the character practically begging Kurt for a spot in the band. Of course to find out if Starchild will be rocking the stage with Kurt, Santana and Dani in a new band they'll have to wait until the episode airs Thursday, Nov. 7 on Fox.

Lambert did give a little hint about his character's future on "Glee."

"I don't know much about Elliot and Kurt's relationship yet," he admits. "All I know is that Ryan [Murphy] said something about 'nemesis.'"

That sure sounds like Starchild will be sticking around a little bit longer than one episode.
