Lea Michele revealed in the December issue of Elle magazine that she is doing fine since the death of her "Glee" costar and boyfriend Cory Monteith but getting through the grief wasn't an easy task. She opened up about how actress Kate Hudson was a shoulder for her to lean on during that time and opened up her home so she would have a quiet place to stay.

Michele also revealed that she wanted to remember the late actor by doing something special and got a tattoo and wrote a new song about him. The 27-year-old actress told Elle that her upcoming solo album now features a song dedicated to Monteith, Hollywood Life reports.

She began working on the album in October 2012 but after Monteith's death decided to push the release date back so she could write and record a new song called "If You Say So."

"The album was done, and the label said, 'Do you want to add anything?'" she told the magazine.

Michele said at first she went back and forth about it but in the end decided to go through with it.

"I was like, 'I might regret it if I don't," she said.

We can only imagine how beautiful the song will be. Michele said the title, "If You Say So," holds a special meaning for her because those were the last words Monteith said to her. To help her record the song the actress enlisted the help of Australian songwriter Sia Furler, who ended up co-writing the song with Michele.

"I said [to Sia], 'I feel like I'm starting to just stink in it, and he would never want me to do that," she said. "I need to remember that you have to love, because you can want to die."

On Oct. 21 Michele revealed a new tattoo at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards. On her ribcage in black ink she has the words "if you say so."
