Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel came to the team facility Wednesday with concussion symptoms and is currently being evaluated by doctors, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. The team is expected to know by the end of Wednesday, and quarterback Austin Davis is expected to become the starter if Manziel is placed in the league's concussion protocol, according to ESPN.

Head coach Mike Pettine said that Manziel will start if he is cleared, despite a video that appeared during the Christmas break showing Manziel partying. Manziel was benched earlier in the season after partying during the Browns' bye week, but the issue was not the partying, but that the Browns quarterback was not truthful with what happened.

Manziel is still currently auditioning as the future franchise quarterback in Cleveland, and teams across the league have likely been keeping a close on eye on the Browns quarterback. The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly still interested in Manziel, and it will be interesting to see what Cleveland's front office does during the offseason.

The former Heisman Trophy winner has clearly improved in his second year in the league. Manziel has thrown for 1,500 yards with seven touchdowns to five interceptions and has a record of 2-4 as the Browns starting quarterback. Manziel has yet to prove himself worthy of a first-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, and fans may have to wait until the 2016 season to see Manziel play again.
