Male Kpop group EXO tops the list of best idol album sellers in 2015 with 1,205,657 group, solo and unit albums sold. The result is unsurprising, given the huge population of EXO-Ls.

As usual, EXO is rivaled by Big Bang. The two groups have always been pitted against each other on music shows this year.

Big Bang, who released the "MADE" series this year, places second with 423,341 pieces sold. "MADE" is composed of four single albums, "M," "A," "D" and "E." All of the albums topped the charts upon release, reports Kpop Starz.

Fast-rising newcomer BTS comes in third for selling 343,928 albums. The group won many music show awards this year despite being up against veteran groups.

SHINee's "Married to the Music" and Jonghyun's solo debut album sold a total of 334,586 albums. This gives them the fourth place on the list.

Super Junior is the third SM Entertainment group in the list. The sales of Super Junior's "Magic," combined with the sales of Donghae and Eunhyuk's unit project, counted 333,091 - placing them fifth on the list.
