SBS Gayo Daejun has always been grand, and this year is no exception. Twenty-seven of the biggest Kpop idols and groups are lined up for one grand night of Kpop collaborations and showdowns.

The idols and groups confirmed so far are SM Entertainment's Girls' Generation, SHINee, Red Velvet and EXO; FNC's CN Blue and AOA; JYP's Wonder Girls, 2PM, Got7, TWICE; and YG's iKon. Also, 4Minute, T-ara, INFINITE, A Pink, VIXX, Mamamoo, Lovelyz, Gfriend, Monsta X, Seventeen and UP10TION will be in attendence, reports All Kpop.

More groups and artists may be added at a later time and date as well, reports YG United.

The performances on the music awards show have always been the talk of the town. One of which were the stages of "Dazzling Red" and "Mystic White," two special mixes made up of popular members from the hottest Kpop girl groups. This year, the major Korean broadcast network promises an entertaining and original  line-up of performances, reports Soompi.

As usual, there will be collaborations among artists, and this year's stages will be a throwback of the '90s and will reminisce the past era.

Gayo Daejun, the annual year-ender of SBS, airs live on Dec. 27 at 9:40 p.m. Korean Time.
