When Bristol Palin first announced that she was pregnant with her second child back in June, it was unclear who the father was as she and her fiancé Dakota Meyer had just called off their wedding. The 25-year-old single mom gave birth to her daughter Sailor Grace on Dec. 23, and the father of the baby was still unknown, but Meyer may have just dropped a huge clue that he's the baby daddy.

"Best Christmas present ever!!!" he captioned a photo of the newborn on Dec. 24. "I couldn't be more proud of this little blessing."

Apparently, Meyer was not at the hospital at the time of Sailor's delivery, according to The Hollywood Gossip. It is still unclear what sort of role he will play in the baby girl's life.

At the time of her pregnancy announcement, people immediately started to criticize her for having another baby outside of marriage, as HNGN previously reported. She then took it upon her self to set the record straight.

"So here are the things you should all get straight before you continue to mock me, judge me and talk about me," she wrote at the time. "None of us are perfect. I made a mistake, but it's not the mistake all these giddy a$holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned. Everyone knows I want more kids, to have a bigger family. Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn't go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on."

She and Meyer had just called off their wedding the month before, so this is probably what she was implying in her blog post. Her mom, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, made the announcement on Facebook, writing, "Bristol and Dakota couldn't be more thankful for the love and support of family and friends over the past months while preparing for the wedding...unfortunately the announced celebrating planned for May 23 will not be held."

She then added Bristol's message addressing rumors about Meyer's apparent secret wife writing, "Regarding salacious headlines in recent days about 'secret wives,' Dakota and I discussed our past relationships prior to our engagement. Dakota was legally divorced years ago, as any good reporter could and should have disclosed to readers. As usual, false stories and dramatically written headlines begging controversy should be disregarded, and we have faith that our privacy will be respected at this time by those with decency. Thank you!"

Best Christmas present ever!! I couldn't be more proud of this little blessing.
