Bristol Palin announced that she was pregnant with her second child back in June, and a lot of people criticized her for having another baby outside of marriage. Many assumed her mother Sarah Palin was doing the same thing, as she had not spoken out about the pregnancy until now.

While doing an interview with CBS News' "Sunday Morning," Sarah had nothing but positive things to say about the pregnancy when asked how she really felt. "Bristol is pregnant again," CBS correspondent Tracy Smith said. "That can't be how you saw this playing out, unmarried and pregnant again."

"Heck, no!" the 51-year-old politician said. "Being a single mom is...oh my goodness. My heart goes out to the single parents, but my enormous admiration for what they're able to accomplish doing double duty. And I watch Bristol do double duty all the time with her little boy, Tripp...I can't wait for about 45 more days and I'm going to have a little baby granddaughter. And I'm happy about it."

Smith then went on to point out to Palin that "this goes against everything she stands for," and Palin had a pretty good answer to that statement. "Well, the cool thing about puttin' your faith in God is, he certainly is a God of second chances - and third, and fourth and fifth chances. I screw up all the time."

When Bristol first found out she was pregnant, she made the announcement on her personal blog. She didn't reveal the father and asked that people respect her and her son Tripp's privacy.

"Honestly, I've been trying my hardest to keep my chin up on this one," Bristol, 24, wrote. "At the end of the day there's nothing I can't do with God by my side, and I know I am fully capable of handling anything that is put in front of me with dignity and grace...I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you."

After several people bashed her for this announcement, she wrote another post explaining that the pregnancy was planned. "So here are the things you should all get straight before you continue to mock me, judge me and talk about me," she wrote. "None of us are perfect. I made a mistake, but it's not the mistake all these giddy a$holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned. Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family. Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn't go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on...But I do not regret this baby. This baby is not a disappointment and I cannot wait to be a mom times two. Tripp is going to make the best big brother!!"
