Hours after the real life Hillary Clinton faced off with Bernie Sanders and Martin O'Malley at the Democratic debate, former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Amy Poehler reprised her role as the presidential candidate as "2008 Hillary Clinton." Poehler shared hosting duties for last night's "SNL" with Tina Fey, who also brought back her impression of Sarah Plain.

The sketch started out with Kate McKinnon, who currently plays Clinton on the show, talking to herself in the mirror.

"In just 11 months, you're going to finally get your present. No one can stop you now. The Republicans are bozos, the DNC is sabotaging Bernie. I think you're going to sleep well tonight," McKinnon's Hillary said.

She was then visited by the ghost of Christmas past, which turned out to be Poehler's version of Clinton from 2008, who warned McKinnon's Clinton not too get too pompous about the election.

"On Christmas eve 2007, I was cocky too, and then someone named Barack Obama stumbled out of a soup kitchen with a basketball and a cigarette and stole my life," 2008 Hillary warned before she found out the GOP front runner was Donald Trump.

"We're going to be president!"

The celebrations were then cut short when Fey's Palin from 2008 came in, but Palin thought she "landed in the bedroom of a lesbian couple."

"Oh geeze, it looks like I went through time and space again"
