Buffalo Bills general manager Doug Whaley is reportedly unhappy with the current coaching staff, and a showdown is reportedly looming following the 2015 season, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

Whaley is reportedly unhappy with how the coaching staff is handing 2014 first-round draft pick Sammy Watkins and reportedly would prefer the team to move on from offensive coordinator Greg Roman as well as others, according to La Canfora. Bills owner Terry Pegula is reportedly unlikely to agree to the changes, and some believe that a change may be coming for the front office following this season, according to La Canfora.

Whaley gave up the Bills ninth overall pick in 2014, as well as a first and fourth-round pick in 2015 to acquire wide receiver Sammy Watkins, and with talented receivers like Odell Beckham Jr. found later in that draft, many feel that the move has not paid off. The Bills GM has been at the center of a ton of controversial moves in his tenure at Buffalo and reportedly went "rogue" in cutting running back Fred Jackson without consenting head coach Rex Ryan. Combine that with drafting quarterback EJ Manuel in the first round in the 2013 NFL Draft, and Whaley's moves have look questionable at best.

The Bills reportedly need to move on from Manuel, and NFL sources believe that they need to draft a franchise quarterback in the near future, according to Bills reporter Vic Carucci. There are some out there that believe that Whaley is not the issue, and the focus should be put on head coach Rex Ryan. Whaley has not made all bad moves since taking over in Buffalo, and drafting Karlos Williams in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft at this point looks like a steal.

It's unclear what will happen this offseason, but with a 6-7 record and only three games left on the schedule it's another disappointing season for Bills fans. Changes are likely coming this offseason, and Whaley looks to be at the center of multiple issues in Buffalo.
