The St. Louis Rams are reportedly expected to bring back head coach Jeff Fisher and general manager Les Snead in 2016 despite another disappointing season, according to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport.

The Rams improved to 6-8 with a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Thursday night, but with only two games left in the year, St. Louis can't post a winning season. Fisher has yet to post a winning record since arriving in St. Louis in 2012 and has a combined record of 26-35-1.

Fisher signed a five-year $35 million contract with the Rams in 2012 and is reportedly expected to remain under his contract through the 2016 NFL season, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Rams have already fired offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti and have promoted Rob Boras to the position. St. Louis has won two straight since making the change, but they face a difficult challenge against the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday.

The Rams made some major moves this offseason that have not all panned out in 2015. The Rams traded quarterback Sam Bradford to Philadelphia for Eagles quarterback Nick Foles this past offseason. The move did not work out for the Rams front office, as Foles only threw seven touchdowns to 10 interceptions this year before being benched for backup quarterback Case Keenum. Although the Rams likely reached in getting Foles this offseason, they made a great move in bringing in Keenum as a backup and has proved to be viable option down the stretch of this year. While Keenum has played well, the Rams are still interested in searching for a quarterback this offseason, according to Rapoport.

The Rams also selected the frontrunner rookie of the year in running back Todd Gurley in the 2015 NFL Draft. The Rams selected Gurley with the 10th pick this offseason and has proven that the unique running back was clearly worth the high draft pick. Gurley has rushed for 1,023 yards and has scored nine touchdowns.

Despite another disappointing season in St. Louis, the Rams look to be heading in the right direction. Fisher and Snead are expected to return next year, and with Rams owner Stan Kroenke planning to move the team to Los Angeles in 2016, the organization may try to limit the offseason moves.
