Jimmy Kimmel is the master of pranks and for the past four years, and he and his longtime neighbor and frenemy John Krasinski have had an epic Christmas prank war going on. While this year should have been Kimmel's turn, Krasinski took matters into his own hands before the talk show host had the chance.

During Tuesday night's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" the two reminisced about how this all started with an innocent break in and a snowman from Bed Bath & Beyond. Things got crazy last year when "The Office" alum took things to the next level with help from his wife Emily Blunt by wrapping Kimmel's car three separate times and completely filling it with round ornaments.

As tradition goes, Krasinski, 36, and Kimmel, 48, typically alternate with who pranks who, so Kimmel had his pranks prepared, but Krasinski took the talk show host by surprise with several pranks throughout the whole week leading up to his appearance on the show.

"This is my greatest joy with the prank this year. That we alternate and I robbed you of the joy," Krasinski said. "And when I did the prank I remember seeing your eyes like, 'That's really funny! I hate you!'"

First, Krasinski hired a half-naked Santa Claus to hang outside Kimmel's office window, then he sent a real-life reindeer to his dressing, who just so happened to poop all over his bathroom, and then he completed the epic holiday pranks by decorating Kimmel's entire office like the North Pole and dressing up as a nutcracker, popping out at just the right moment to scare him.

While Krasinski thought he'd got him good, and he did, Kimmel still had a few tricks up his sleeve that involved a yard sale and some eggnog. Watch the hilarious video below to see how Kimmel got him back!
