Harry Potter fans rejoice! Universal Studios Hollywood has revealed that the "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" attraction will open to the public on April 7, 2016.

"More than five years in the making...'The Wizarding World of Harry Potter' is being masterfully recreated with impeccable detail as a real-world interpretation at Universal Studios Hollywood," Universal Studios said in a statement, according to CBS Los Angeles.

The attraction, inspired from J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" book series and movie franchise, will include an immersive 3-D ride called "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey" in addition to an outdoor family roller coaster named "Flight of the Hippogriff." The attraction will also house outlets that will offer Potter-themed food, drinks and merchandise, CNN reported.

"With the Los Angeles people especially, it's important to make this the perfect rendition of 'Harry Potter,' a facsimile of the story and films," said Alan Gilmore, art director of the series, according to USA Today. "So when people are within the park, they will be immersed in the story."

"It's a spectacle, iconic," he added. "The main storytelling location in 'Harry Potter' is now the most amazing castle in Los Angeles."

Harry Potter's "Wizarding World" attraction is already open at other Universal Studios locations, including Universal Studios Florida and Universal Studios Japan.
