On Tuesday's episode of the British talk show "Loose Women," Burt Reynolds didn't hold back against Charlie Sheen, making some controversial remarks about the "Two and a Half Men" actor's HIV diagnosis.

Last month, Sheen, 50, revealed on the "Today" show that he was HIV positive and was diagnosed with the virus four years ago, as HNGN previously reportedDuring Reynolds' interview, he was asked about Sheen's shocking announcement and the 79-year-old actor responded by saying that Sheen only has himself to blame for the diagnosis and is deserving of it.

"He's handled it badly, I think," he said, according to People. "His father is a very, very decent man and a dear friend of mine. I feel bad for him, but Charlie, I don't feel bad for him. He's getting what he deserves. If you're going to misbehave like that, they're going to get you."

"He misbehaved badly. Very badly. But you know, when you're that age, it's tough. All those things are coming at you and it's difficult," Reynolds added.

Reynolds found himself at the centre of HIV rumors back in the 1980s after losing a significant amount of weight within a short time period. However, the actor attributed the weight loss to a broken jaw and a prescription painkiller addiction in his memoir, according to Vanity Fair.
