We've known for a while now that Zack Snyder's "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" would be saturated with familiar comic book characters. In addition to our titular titans, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, Doomsday and a host of others will be present to the delight of comic book fans everywhere. But what about other members of the Justice League? Jason Momoa's Aquaman and Ray Fisher's Cyborg have been confirmed to be making appearances. Could Ezra Miller's Flash be joining them?

Speaking to Omelete (via CBM), "Batman V Superman" costume designer Michael Wilkinson, who'll also be on hand for "Justice League," discussed his approach to adapting superhero costumes for film. While doing so, he spilled the beans on Flash's involvement.

"I'm not really at the liberty to talk about The Flash right now, but it's something that you'll be seeing in the future in our films. You do get a glimpse of him, of course, in Batman V Superman. But I'm really looking forward to taking the amazing, iconic costumes for The Flash and interpreting it in a fresh way where Ezra Miller is playing The Flash. He's an extraordinary performer, he has a sort of interesting sense of humor and the youth that will be great for Barry Allen and I think he's going to make a great Flash."

Wilkinson's comments support previous rumors that suggested The Flash would be seen quickly as a blur and would not have a major role in the film. Similarly, Aquaman and Cyborg are not expected to be focal points. Still, it's nice to know fans will at least get a quick glimpse of the Scarlet Speedster and his soon-to-be teammates before "Justice League" and the planned solo movies. Now, if we could only get an official update on the Green Lantern...

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters on Mar. 25, 2016.
