A zombie nativity scene has caused a ruckus in Ohio, including Christian protesters handing out pamphlets claiming, "God frowns upon this manger display," according to the Raw Story. This city frowns upon it as well apparently, fining the homeowner, Jasen Dixon, for the holiday decorations.

"My father hates it. The other neighbors, they drive by and give me a thumbs-up," Dixon said, claiming his neighbors are fine with the display.

Sycamore Township officials claim Dixon needs a permit for the creepy display this year, but he was turned down when he applied for it. Without a permit, Dixon faces a $500 fine for every day the zombie baby Jesus scene remains in his front yard.

"I got all the paperwork and how it was wrote out, and it says as long as it's not over 200-square -foot that I can have it without a permit, and it's about 65 square foot," Dixon said, according to the New York Daily News.

"I think it's the theme," said Dixon, about the atypical holiday scene, according to Media Ite. "It just rubs people the wrong way. That's why they're coming down so hard on me."
