The force was not with Daisy Ridley Thursday night on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," where the star of the forthcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" took on Fallon in the classic drinking game flip cup.

The two played a special edition of the game and called it "Star Wars Flip Cup" because they used Red (Han) Solo Cups and a Chewbacca roar went off every time Ridley or Fallon successfully flipped their cup over. To top everything off, the pair even wore sparkly RD-D2 and C-3PO hats.

The rules of flip cup are simple: the players must first chug the beer in the cup and then flip it upside down. Whoever flips over all their cups first is the winner.

When the game started, Ridley got off to a fast start and flipped over three cups while Fallon lagged behind. Fallon soon caught up, and the pair was neck-and-neck at the second to last cup. In the end, Fallon managed to flip over his last cup while Ridley was still working on her second to last.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is the first major film Ridley has ever starred in. After all the fun and games, the actress stuck around and opened up to Fallon about all the emotions she felt when she watched the first trailer for the highly-anticipated film.

"So many people have worked on this thing," she said. "The crew are just spectacular. To see it come together ... makes me emotional now. It's just an incredible thing."

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" comes out on Dec. 18.
