Tim Tebow single? Rumor has it that Olivia Culpo dumped the 28-year-old former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback after only two months of dating. As previously reported by HNGN, Culpo and Tebow began dating in September after being set up by mutual friends.

The NFL player was reportedly wooing Culpo, who is a former Miss Universe, with an old-fashioned courtship, including penning love letters. The athlete thought Culpo was "beyond beautiful."

"Tim's super into her. It's very new, but he thinks she is a goddess. He's very attentive and writes her sweet notes all the time," a source told Us Weekly.

"She is really attracted to Tim's personality. They are having a great time with each other and are looking to spend more time once the football season slows down. Olivia is excited [about] whats developing as they get to know each other more," another source told E! News. So, what went wrong?

Sources are claiming that Tebow's promise to God to remain abstinent until marriage could be the main reason behind their spilt. According to the New York Daily News showbiz blog Confidential, Tebow refused to have sex with Culpo due to his strict Christian beliefs. Culpo reportedly told her pals that she could not deal with his abstinent lifestyle.

"He was really into her," a source told the New York Daily News. "He was sending her love letters and cute notes and professing his love for her. She had to break up with him because she just couldn't handle it. He still hits her up, but she just can't deal with the sex thing. He's pretty adamant about it, I guess."

Tebow has publicly confessed that he plans to remain a virgin until marriage - guess Culpo didn't feel the same way. Culpo seemed to have shed some light on her split from Tebow in a cryptic tweet posted Friday, writing, "Being rejected from something good just means you were being pointed toward something better."

Tebow and Culpo began dating three months after her split from Nick Jonas, who once made a similar vow of chastity, along with his famous siblings. Last year, Jonas confirmed that he removed his purity ring because he was sexually active.

Meanwhile, Tebow previously dated Camilla Belle and was also once linked to Jana Duggar, the daughter of conservative "19 Kids and Counting" family.
