Atlanta Falcons star running back Devonta Freeman has been ruled out Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, according to NFL reporter Tiffany Blackmon. Freeman suffered a concussion last week against the Indianapolis Colts and was unable to practice all week, as he was going through the NFL's concussion protocol. With Freeman out, rookie running back Tevin Coleman looks to be solid start at the second running back position in most fantasy leagues.

Coleman has had trouble with fumbles this season, but he is something the Falcons running back is adamant about working on. Coleman rushed for 48 yards on 17 carries last week and is excepted to see a bulk of the carries this weekend against the Vikings. The Falcons used a third round pick on Coleman in the 2015 NFL Draft, and head coach Dan Quinn will want to see some big plays out of his rookie running back this weekend.

The Vikings are ranked 17th in terms of rushing yards allowed per game, and they are giving up an average 110.1 rushing yards per game this season. While Coleman only has one reception on the season, he will likely see more targets this weekend, especially on third down passing situations. Coleman could have a big impact in point per reception leagues, and he has a strong matchup at home against the Vikings.

Atlanta is looking to end their three game losing streak this weekend and are trying to keep themselves in playoff contention. Coleman is strong start at the second running back position in most leagues, and he looks to be an impact player for the Falcons this upcoming Sunday.
