Baltimore Ravens running back Justin Forsett has been placed on injured reserve, and the Ravens reportedly are not looking into signing another running back, according to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport. Forsett broke his arm last week in a win over the St. Louis Rams, and running backs Javorius Allen and Terrance West could be interesting plays in fantasy this upcoming week.

The Ravens also lost their franchise quarterback Joe Flacco last week, as he tore his ACL in the fourth quarter against the Rams. Head coach John Harbaugh will look for his team to establish a strong ground game without Flacco, and Allen looks to be a strong start at the second running back position in most fantasy leagues. This past Sunday against the Rams, Allen rushed 22 times for 67 yards and had five catches for 48 yards. Allen looks to be a big play in point per reception leagues, as he has proven he can catch the ball out of the backfield.

The Ravens activated West to their active roster and is a player fantasy that owners should keep an eye on. While West is not a clear start in fantasy this weekend, he could earn himself more carries, making him a viable option to pickup next week. Most fantasy leagues are coming to their last couple games before the playoffs, and West could be a sleep waiver wire pick that could become a big player down the stretch of this season. The second year running back rushed for 673 yards in his rookie season in Cleveland and will want to prove himself against his former team this upcoming Monday.

The Ravens face the Cleveland Browns on Monday Nigh Football this week, and Cleveland has the worst rush defense in the league in terms of yards per game. Look for Allen to have a big game this weekend, and he is a sure start in most fantasy leagues.
