Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu was injured due to carelessness of a hairstylist during a shoot. She sustained multiple burn injuries on her face and hands after the hair stylist dropped a hot tong on her.

"Started my day of shoot with multiple burns on my face and hands by a hairstylist. She dropped the tong on me and did not even flinch," she tweeted.

The "Raaz" actress reportedly posted pictures of multiple burns in her face and hand on Instagram, according to India TV News. However, she deleted the pictures later.

The incident has left Basu's fans worried, and some have even posted their concerns as well as get-well-soon wishes on Twitter.

Bipasha is currently seen on television in the horror series "Darr Sabko Lagta Hai," which marks her small screen debut.

"I was looking for something on TV that was in sync with me. I had managed to find that sync in fashion and fitness but these are niche areas. I was looking for a bigger perspective and this show on television gave that to me," she recently commented, according to India Today.

Basu's rumoured relationship with actor Karan Singh Grover has been talk of the town. The duo has never admitted to their relationship despite being spotted together on multiple occasions.

"Bipasha and I are close to each other. We spend time together. We work out together and also enjoy each other's company. We are just good friends," the "Alone" star said in an interview few days back, according to NDTV Movies.

Grover will be soon seen in "Hate Story 3" along with Sharman Joshi, Zarine Khan and Daisy Shah. The erotic thriller is set to hit theaters on Dec. 4.
