Bethesda announced that the first Fallout 4 patch will roll out next week in an official statement. The developer is mum about the patch details or what specific bugs it will fix and proceeded on thanking fans and stating that the game is the most robust and solid release ever. Gamers, however, can take advantage of several bugs, before the update finally fixes them. The reason for this is that some glitches allow players to get some items and also bypass certain limitations.

The Cryolator is a case in point. It is a unique weapon found in Vault 111. It is located in a display case on the Overseer's Room and it is not available to players in the early part of the game. It requires the capability to pick Master locks. However, due to a bug, the player can merely ask Dogmeat to fetch it and he will promptly yank it out from its case. Watch how its done in the video below:

Another cheat that results from a glitch in the game involves the capability to max out S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attributes through the duplication of the stat-boosting book found in Shaun's room. The player merely drops an item before Dogmeat and asks him to fetch it. If the player picks it up before the dog does, both would end up holding a copy.

Presently, players can also build settlements beyond the maximum size limit. This is achieved by fooling the game: drop a cache of weapon within the green boundaries and store them using the settlement editor. The game will think that the player is reducing building stuffs and proceeds on reducing the build size, according to Games Radar.

After the patch, it is not known what will happen to the items collected and the buildings built on account of the glitches. But one or two would probably survive. The patch will first hit Steam as a beta before finally launching in PCs and consoles, PC Gamer reported.
