Rumor had it that Adele turned down Beyoncé for a duet for her forthcoming album "25." Ahead of the release of her highly-anticipated album, the "Hello" singer sat down with Beats 1 DJ, Zane Lowe and talked about the rumors that she dissed the "Drunk in Love" singer.

"There's a rumor going round that I turned Beyoncé down. Which I would never be so disrespectful as to do. I'd never disrespect her like that," she shared. "I'm such a fan, oh my god. Obviously, like, Queen Bey to the day I die."

Adele's love for Beyoncé has been well documented over the past couple of years. In 2011, she opened up about how she helped her face her anxiety early in her career, according to MTV.

"I was about to meet Beyoncé and I had a full-blown anxiety attack," the singer said at the time. "Then she popped in looking gorgeous, and said, 'You're amazing! When I listen to you I feel like I'm listening to God.'"

Adele also opened up about her favorite modern musicians, which included Florence and the Machines and Chvrches.

"I love Lana Del Rey. I love her very, very much. I've never met her though, but I just think she, she like stirs my soul," Adele told Lowe. "I love Alabama Shakes. And I think Brittany [Howard] is, the way I first felt when Etta James, when I first heard her."

Adele's "25" drops this Friday.
