Apple is, once again, expanding its reach. It has created its first beta app for Android, allowing users to access Apple Music, according to Tech Crunch. It's one of the first apps the company has created that caters to those who do not use Apple products.

The first app Apple created for Android was the Move to iOS app that was created to ease the transition from Android to iPhone, according to Tech Crunch.

Ratings for the new beta app give it 3.2 stars, according to Computer World. More than 4,300 users have submitted their ratings so far.

The app can be downloaded for free, and a three-month free trial period is available for new users of Apple Music, according to Computer World. This has a lot of Android users both eager and wary of the new app.

Almost all of the features available for iOS users of the app are available for Android users, except for music videos and family membership, according to Engadget. Apple assures that this feature will be available soon.

"From the moment we got into music, many, many years ago, we've always wanted to do things for everyone when it came down to music. Part of that was letting you enjoy your music no matter where you were and what products you were using," Eddy Cue, Apple's iTunes Chief, said in a statement, according to Computer World.
