On Monday night, Caitlyn Jenner was awarded Glamour Magazine's Woman of the Year and "Transgender Champion" for her advocacy work in the LGBT community, and her youngest daughter Kylie Jenner wasn't going to let a wardrobe malfunction stop her from supporting her dad.

Kylie, 18, showed up to the glamorous red carpet in a very casual outfit of high waisted black pants, sneakers and a jean jacket, which took most people by surprise as this was a formal event and she is not typically one to under dress. Caitlyn, on the other hand, stunned in a royal blue and black Moschino gown. While Kylie still managed to look beyond gorgeous in her casual wear, there was a reason behind her outfit choice.

"Had some major wardrobe malfunctions but that couldn't stop me from supporting the ones I love," she captioned a photo of herself on the Glamour red carpet. "You're amazing @caitlynjenner congrats on being woman of the year for @glamourmag."

When Caitlyn, 66, accepted the award, she had some very moving things to say about her transition. "When it comes to gender, everyone in this room is on a journey," she told the crowd, according to E! News. "We are constantly learning and growing as human beings learning about ourselves, but there is a second part of this population when it comes to gender. There is a massive confusion deep down inside."

"For years and years, I never felt like I fit in anywhere," she continued to say. "I always felt as an outsider; I never felt good in the male side, and I wasn't obviously in the female side. I was kind of stuck in the middle. But all of a sudden, after making these decisions and coming out, it was by far the best thing that I ever did."

She went on to explain her transition so far and how she spent so much time isolating herself and lying to the world, and how opening up to her children about it had been the hardest part of it all. All ten of her children have been so supportive throughout this entire journey, and Kylie had nothing but amazing things to say about her brave father.

"I was a little scared because I didn't know how much would change," Kylie said, according to People. "And it honestly feels like, besides appearance, nothing has changed. She's lived an amazing life, and she's always done amazing things. She's such a good role model for so many people, and I know she wants to do so much good with what she's doing."

"'Dream big. Work Hard' Wise words from @caitlynjenner," Glamour Magazine captioned a photo of Caitlyn and Kylie. "Here with daughter @kyliejenner, proving that #EveryWomanCan."
