Gaon, South Korea's national music chart, has revealed its top picks for the last week of October. A few days after releasing "4 Walls," SM Entertainment's edgy girl group f(x) dominated, but IU is a strong rival.
The current results pose a unique trend. The two leading music videos, "Twenty-three" by IU and "4 Walls" by f(x), feature mid-tempo music, excellent vocals and on-point dancing.
IU's "Twenty-three" tops the Digital Singles Ranking.
Upon release, f(x)'s "4 Walls" was quick to dominate the charts. The song tops the Gaon Chart's categories National Physical Albums Ranking and Online Downloads For The Week .
"Love Again" by Lim Chang Jung is the most-sung karaoke song nationwide.
Finally, Hyunah Ft. IIhoon's "Roll Deep" tops the Gaon Social Chart. Released two months ago, the sexy collaboration is still being talked about.
The Gaon Chart is the equivalent of Oricon in Japan and Billboard in the United States, reports AllKpop.
