Comedian and actor Mike Myers welcomed his third child with wife Kelly Tisdale Monday, the Associated Press reported. The "Austin Powers" star's wife gave birth to their new baby girl in New York City.

The couple was "elated" to announce the arrival of their new daughter Paulina Kathleen, Myers' spokeswoman Ina Treciokas told AP. Tisdale and little Paulina are doing well.

Myers, 52, wed Tisdale, 40, in the fall of 2010 during a secret ceremony after four years of dating, E! News reported. The couple shares two children, 4-year-old Spike and 1-year-old Sunday Molly.

The Canadian-born actor gushed about fatherhood and explained his children's names during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" last November.

"It's the best thing, it's the happiest time of my life," Myers told Kimmel about being a dad. "I always wanted to have kids. I thought i was gonna like, it of course, I didn't know I was gonna love it."

"Spike is our first kid, it was my dad's name, a very Liverpool name," the actor said, mentioning his family's English roots. "Sunday Molly Myers, because my wife and i hate Sunday so we wanted to turn that around."

Myers made a name for himself in comedy during his time as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live," according to IMDB. He's best known for his roles in "Wayne's World," the title character in the "Austin Powers" franchise and the voice behind the title character in DreamWorks Animation's "Shrek" franchise.
