Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has expressed her desire to work in Hollywood films. Deepika, who earlier missed an opportunity to work in "Furious 7," said that she is now ready to work in Hollywood projects, according to Hindustan Times.

"I am interested in doing Hollywood films. I am ready to explore working in the West. I couldn't do Fast and Furious. I am glad I chose to do Ram Leela promotions," the 29-year-old actress said Saturday at MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, India Today reported.

"If something interesting comes up I will take up. Here we are subject to shelf life keeps arising and times have changed. There it is not like that," she added.

"I was offered my first film way before I actually did my first film in Bollywood. But I waited for the right film and the right time so I wouldn't deny that there hasn't been interest but I think I will do it when I am ready," the "Piku" actress said, according to NDTV.

Several Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopara of Quantico, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Mallika Sherawat and Irrfan Khan, have already been recognized for their works in Hollywood projects. Deepika is latest in the list of Indian stars who have shown interested in Hollywood.

Deepika recently wrapped up shooting for her upcoming epic romance drama "Bajirao Mastani" with rumored boyfriend Ranveer Singh.

Deepika will be seen in "Tamansha" with Ranbir Kapoor. The duo has a passionate lovemaking and a long kissing scene in the romance flick, which is slated for release on Nov. 27, as HNGN previously reported. Their intense chemistry in the breakup song "Agar Tum Saath Ho" has also became the talk of the town.
