Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has finally spoken out against rumors about his engagement with Romanian model and TV presenter Lulia Vantur, denying reports Friday that he was engaged with Vantur and set to marry her.

"There is a lot of buzz about a lot of things about me, which is never true. Yes, I read what is written, hear what is said, and my right answer to your question would be that i am indifferent to all of it," Khan said in an interview with Mumbai Mirror. "The small things don't bother me at all, but they bother my parents. And that really bothers me."

"If they didn't care about all this nautanki girl ( drama girl), if the judges and public prosecutors laughed off everything that's written about me, it wouldn't bother me at all. I think everyone has their own journey, their own realisation I deal with my demons and everyone has to deal with theirs," the "Bajrangi Bhaijan" actor further stated.

Rumors surfaced recently that Khan had got engaged with rumored girlfriend Vantur and set to marry her in early next year, as HNGN previously reported.

Salman's younger sister Arpita Khan Sharma later rubbished the rumors on Twitter. "Do not believe everything you read in the papers or on different websites online," she wrote, according to Business of Cinema.

Khan has been linked with several actresses in the past, including Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif, and Vantur is latest celebrity being linked to him, according to India Today.

Lulia and Salman first met two years ago on the set of the film "Bodyguard." She was seen in many family functions, including Khan's sister's wedding ceremony.

Khan is currently hosting controversial celebrity reality show "Bigg Boss 9" and is also busy in promoting his upcoming romantic flick with Sonam Kapoor titled "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo," which is all set to hit theatres Nov. 12.
