Get your pink outfits ready because "Legally Blonde 3" could be hitting the big screen sometime in the near future.

On Thursday, Reese Witherspoon sat down with Rachel Zoe on "Fashionably Late" and revealed that she thinks the "world is ready" for some more Elle Woods, only this time, she would like to be President.

"A lot of writers over the years have come up with different ideas for it," the 39-year-old actress said. "I actually think it's kind of great right now because we're talking about women in politics and how important that is to get more women. And I think it'd be kind of a cool thing to have her be a Supreme Court justice or someone who runs for office, like president!"

While nothing is set in stone yet, it would be awesome to see Witherspoon back in action as our favorite ditzy Harvard graduate.

"I think we're ready to see Elle and see what she's up to lately," Witherspoon said.

Back in 2003, "Legally Blonde 2" came out, and Elle Woods took on Congress to pass a bill to ban animal testing, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie series was such huge hit that it even became a musical, which debuted on Broadway in 2007.

Witherspoon said that she would definitely be all about a third film, but uncertainty surrounds the idea of whether or not it will actually happen.

"I don't know. Call MGM," Witherspoon finally said. "I have no idea."
